Hey everyone!

This week I am reviewing the Sephora Collection 10 HR Wear Perfection Foundation. I was planning on blogging about my recent Sephora haul, but my section on this foundation was pretty long so I decided to review this product on its own!

According to the website, this foundation does a lot of things so if you want all of the details, please click here. It has “buildable coverage that instantly conceals blemishes with an invisible, flawless finish”. The Hyaluronic acid in the foundation smooths the skin, the antioxidant vitamin E protects against external stressors, the foundation blurs out blemishes, evens out your complexion and softens the appearance of wrinkles!

First of all, there are a TON of shades to choose from, it’s amazing and a little overwhelming. They have about 40 shades that come in different complexions: pink, yellow and matte (see website for more details). The shade I have is “29 Medium Camel Intense (Y)”. It’s a little dark for me, the one that I thought matched me a little better was out of stock. Also, it has a pump!

The foundation is $20 which, in my opinion, is pretty affordable. I don’t really have any high end foundations, I wasn’t convinced they were worth the money. But I haven’t loved the way my skin and foundation have looked over the past few months so purchasing this foundation was my way of dipping my toes into the water of high end foundations. Also, with the increase in pricing of drug store foundations, it really isn’t that bad!

So far, I absolutely love this foundation. It gives off a beautiful natural finish and it is definitely a buildable medium/high coverage foundation. I apply this foundation with my beauty blender and it just looks amazing and flawless on my skin. I love the longevity of this product as well. My skin doesn’t look as flawless as it did when I applied it first thing in the morning, but throughout the day to the point where I get home and remove my makeup, I’m impressed with how nice it looks. It’s probably the longest wearing foundation I own. Also, I have dry skin and have noticed that the foundation doesn’t cling to any dry patches or dries out my skin throughout the day at all.

Clearly, I love this foundation and I suggest checking it out and giving it a try.

  1. I also have wanted to explore high-end foundation for a while, and this is the one I wanted to try once I heard Kathleen Lights talk about it. I’ll definitely pick this up after my spending ban!

  2. I really like this foundation too. I am in 26 Medium Peach. I am not sure it will work as well for me in the summer since my skin can get really greasy in the heat and humidity. I have only used it since December but it is a good foundation.
