IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Silk HD Anti-Aging Micro Powder Review

IT COSMETICS

Hey everyone!

I’m excited to share with you guys a quick review on the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Silk HD Anti-Aging Micro Powder! I bought this product back in April when Ulta had their huge 30 days of makeup deals sale. I believe I was able to purchase it for $18 instead of $24 which was an amazing deal. I had been wanting to try a loose powder to set my under eye and to blur my pores but I was worried because I have pretty dry skin, but I figured if I was going to give it a shot, I might as well try a high end product for a pretty affordable price.

Product Details- Straight from IT Cosmetics website, they state this product is “infused with collagen, vitamin K and pure silk for a perfect, poreless, airbrushed finish. It absorbs oil and shine, and blurs away the look of pores, without settling into lines and wrinkles. It sets makeup and helps to diffuse the appearance of wrinkles and pores instantly.” This product comes in the shade “translucent” and costs $24 at Ulta and on their website.

How/Where I use this product- I use this product to set my under eye area and to blur the pores on the center of my face (around my nose). I apply this product to those areas with a damp beauty blender, which is absolutely my favorite way to apply it and definitely what I suggest.

My thoughts? I absolutely love this product. It instantly blurs any fine lines I have in my under eye area and the pores around my nose, I was completely amazed the first time I used it and continue to be amazed every time. My under eye will always crease but this product definitely prolongs that from happening more than anything I’ve ever used before.  And the pores on and around my nose completely disappear, it’s amazing. I feel like I look airbrushed, my skin looks amazing and it definitely absorbs the shine, if that is something you’re looking for.

The product is also affordable in my opinion, only $24 for such an amazing product that will last a very long time! In my opinion, there is no downside. The only thing I can think of is that it’s a little bit messy, but so is every other loose powder I’ve ever seen used. They actually have a pressed formula that I am planning on picking up in the near future, it comes in “translucent” as well and is $29. I want the pressed formula to set my entire face, I’ve done that with the loose powder but it definitely takes longer than if I were to use the pressed version.

If you’ve tried any other amazing powders (especially the Laura Mercier Setting Powder), please comment below and let me know!

  1. I had the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores bronzing powder and I really liked it. I ended up giving it away to someone whose skin tone actually matched it and she used it as her face powder! I did find that it blurred lines and minimize the look of pores.
Right now I’m using the Nars Light Reflecting loose powder and I quite like it! Here’s my review on it:
